Development of Fragility Curves for Piping and Slope Stability of River Levees

چکیده
The design code Eurocode 7 relies on semi-probabilistic calculation procedures, through utilization of the soil parameters obtained by in situ and laboratory tests, or means transformation models. To reach a prescribed safety margin, inherent parameter variability is accounted for application partial factors to either directly resistance. However, considering several sources geotechnical uncertainty, including variability, measurement error full probabilistic analyses should be implemented consider site-specific variability. This paper presents procedure developing fragility curves levee slope stability piping as failure mechanisms that lead larger breaches, where direct influence flood event intensity probability calculated. A range curve sets presented, material properties varying durations event, thus providing crucial insight into vulnerability exposed rising water levels. applied River Drava levee, site which has shown continuous trend increased levels recent years.
